de:_Elsa Prudent, eine französisch-karibische Künstlerin, schloss 2017 ihr Masterstudium an der École supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux mit einer besonderen Erwähnung des kritischen Aspekts ihrer Arbeit ab. In Ihrer Arbeit sieht sie die Gelegenheit, die Grenzen von Kunst und Design zu erforschen, indem sie die Mittel der visuellen Kommunikation oder des Objekts neu auslotet. Heute befindet sich ihr multidisziplinärer Ansatz in einem weiteren Wandlungsprozess, gespeist von einem soziologischen Ansatz, Beobachtungen, Untersuchungen, die durch die Sammlung von Fotografien, Videos, Texten oder auch in Form von Objekten Gestalt annehmen.
en:_Elsa Prudent is a French-Caribbean visual artist, she obtained her master degree at the design section in 2017 at the École supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Bordeaux with a special mention on the formal and critical aspect of her production. Her career was an opportunity to explore and play with art and design by diverting the means of visual-editorial communication and object. Now her multidisciplinary approach is in full mutation, fed by a sociological approach, observations, surveys illustrated by the collection of photographs, videos, texts, as well as objects.

de:_ „Die Arbeit thematisiert eine Anekdote in welcher eine Begegnung plötzlich dadurch bestimmt wird, dass eine Person ihr Gegenüber exotisiert. Dadurch wird ein global existierender Herrschaftsmechanismus reproduziert. Als Untertitel füge ich eine Stimme als stummen Kommentar zu einer Szenerie in einem Club. Eingeblendet ist ein einzelner weißer Mann, der fortlaufend zu Techno Musik tanzt. Diese Techno Musik wird nach und nach durch karibische Klänge unterwandert.“
en:_ „My interest focuses on an anecdote in which the conviviality of a meeting is broken at the moment when one person exotizes another, and thus reproduces a mechanism of domination. I make hear a voice that unfolds in subtitles, forming a silent commentary to a club sequence representing a single white man who dances in a loop on techno music. The techno sound is undermined more an more by Caribbean sounds.“
